Michael Cooper

Director & President

Mike Cooper (President of Greece Storm Lacrosse and Coach for the 3/4 Team) born and raised in Greece, NY and helped create the initial Greece Lightning while attending school at Greece Olympia. Coach went on to play box lacrosse all over the US and Canada playing from Sr B to Professional. Most recently Coach Cooper won the major LAXNAI championship with the Rochester Bats. Coach breathes the game and is thankful for all it has given to him and is excited to give back to the game. Coach resides in Greece with his wife Kelsey, daughters Braelynn, Kinsley, Peyton and his son Matthew.

Briana Pierson

Treasurer

Briana has lived in the Rochester area for 17 years! Briana and her husband Chris have 2 sons Donovan (19) and Landon (8) and twin daughters Karley and Aubrey (3). With limited knowledge of lacrosse from growing up in Las Vegas, NV, it has now become her life, and there is nothing better than watching her son Landon (3/4) and his friends play on the field the last 3 years. Briana is stepping into the treasurer position with years of experience in the mortgage/banking industry.

Angie has been a teacher for 18 years in the Rochester City School District. Angie and her husband Rob, have 9-year-old twins, Robert and Giselle. Both children play lacrosse as well as other competitive sports. As a parent, she supports the Board of Directors for two other teams as secretary and public relations.

Amy Burnside

Equipment Manager

Amy was born and raised in Greece, NY. She is proud to be one of the first female athletes who played ice hockey in the ’80s and early ’90s for Rochester Youth Hockey. Although her experience with lacrosse is limited, she is well-versed in youth sports. Amy is a USA Hockey Level 4 certified coach and Bronze Level goaltending coach. She coaches at Lakeshore Skating School, Lakeshore Hockey Academy and is assistant coach for her son Brayden’s 12U travel hockey team. Her professional background is 18+ years in healthcare Practice/Program Management and Revenue Cycle/Finance.

Kelly Davis

Secretary

Kelly has lived in Rochester for 21 years. Kelly and her husband Mark (whom some people may know as Beaker) have two children, Lucas (7) and Nora (2). Originally from Buffalo, she learned the game of lacrosse by watching the Buffalo Bandits as a young adult and was excited that Lucas (1 / 2) found a sport that he enjoys playing after trying different sports for the last three years. Kelly also serves on the Holy Cross Catholic Youth Organization board and Willow DV Center Board of Directors.
