Mike Cooper

Mike Cooper

Mike Cooper (President of Greece Storm Lacrosse and Coach for the 3/4 Team) born and raised in Greece, NY and helped create the initial Greece Lightning while attending school at Greece Olympia. Coach went on to play box lacrosse all over the US and Canada playing from Sr B to Professional. Most recently Coach Cooper won the major LAXNAI championship with the Rochester Bats. Coach breathes the game and is thankful for all it has given to him and is excited to give back to the game. Coach resides in Greece with his wife Kelsey, daughters Braelynn, Kinsley, Peyton and his son Matthew.

Mark Stolte

Mark Stolte is a Greece native and Aquinas Graduate, Mark played lacrosse and football at Aquinas winning two state titles and went on to play football at the University of Rhode Island where he was a 4 year letter winner and a team captain. Mark and his wife Melissa have three sons; Mark (11), Colton (8), and Easton (4). This is his 3rd season coaching youth lacrosse.
Bobby DeFreze

Bobby DeFreze

Bobby DeFreze is a Greece native and Aquinas graduate, where he played lacrosse for four years, captaining his last two. He then went on to play 16 years of Senior B and Minor League box lacrosse on various teams throughout New York State, Canada and the First Nations Territories. He can still be coaxed out of retirement for a good tournament or exhibition game with the Rochester Bats. He currently resides in his hometown with his wife Jacqueline, son Rhory (6), and twin daughters Sienna and Zara (4). He has coached both field and box at the youth, middle school and high school level.
Justin Kittredge

Justin Kittredge

Justin Kittredge is a lacrosse enthusiast passionate about growing the sport. Originally from New Jersey, Justin has coached with several youth camps, instilling skills and a love for lacrosse in the next generation. He has assisted in expanding the box lacrosse environment in Austin, Texas. This led to the formation of the Austin Scorpions Lacrosse Club, a Senior-A team that won three straight regional championships in their respective Gulf Coast leagues. Justin is also a founder of Deaf Lacrosse, an organization dedicated to expanding lacrosse within the deaf community through American Sign Language. He is very excited to work with the Greece Storm!
Brian McVaugh

Brian McVaugh

Brian McVaugh has 18 years of Lacrosse experience up to the Senior level, most recently with the Team Ireland development team. He played with Original Greece Lightning Lacrosse and attended the University of Denver. Brian is married to Kristi, and has a Daughter, Brooke who is 3 years old.

Ian Urquhart

Ian Urquhart is a lifelong resident of the Rochester area and an Aquinas graduate, where he played 4 years of lacrosse. While his playing career ended there minus pickup games and shootarounds, his passion and love for the game continued to grow. With a natural inclination to teach and foster active learning, Ian is excited about the opportunity to help grow the game of lacrosse here with the Storm! Ian lives in Greece with his girlfriend Brianna and twin sons Lucas and Riley (7). Lucas is also a member of the Greece Storm!
